This policy explains how the Noor Words app for iPhone (“the app”) handles your information. The app is published by Team Swift Solutions Limited (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 06544382), registered office 101 Elvaston Road, Wollaton, Nottingham. NG8 1JS
This policy applies only to the Noor Words app. Our other products and services have their own privacy policies.
The short version
Noor Words does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking, and the app does not connect to the internet.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress (completed levels, stars, quiz scores, daily streaks) and your settings (such as reminder time) are saved only on your iPhone. This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. If you have the Noor Words widget on your Home Screen, the app shares your streak with the widget on the same device so the widget can display it.
Deleting the app removes all of this information from your device.
Notifications
If you choose to turn on daily or Jumu’ah reminders, they are scheduled on your device by iOS. No information is sent to us, and you can turn reminders off at any time in the app’s Settings or in your iPhone’s Settings.
Information we do not collect
The app does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, usage data or any other personal information. It contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking software.
Purchases
Noor Words is bought through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the payment, and we do not receive your payment details. Apple’s handling of your information is covered by Apple’s own privacy policy.
If you contact us
If you email us (for example, to report a mistake in a question), we will receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to fix the issue you report. We keep it no longer than needed for that purpose and never share or sell it. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Children
Noor Words is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal data, it collects none from children.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or delete it. As the app holds no personal data about you, the only information we could hold is an email you have sent us; contact us and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. If a future version of the app ever needs to handle personal data, we will update this policy before that version is released.
